do u have to bring rain gear to out door ed
ReplyDeleteI would check the forecast the night before we leave to see if they are calling for rain. If there is a chance of rain you really should bring rain gear because we will be walking outside to get to each building!
ReplyDeleteShould we bring sleeping bags or no?
ReplyDeleteI sure hope it doesn't rain!!!
ReplyDeleteNo, you do not need sleeping bags. Bed linens are provided
ReplyDeleteI heard 7th graders from last year said that NorthBay was boring because all they did was learn like were in school. Are we learning alot?
ReplyDeleteThe Outdoor Ed experience is different for everyone and is only as good as you make it. Be sure to try every new experience. There is time for everything including learning and having fun with friends.
ReplyDeleteWill we be able to pick what activities we want to do for the activity part of the day?
ReplyDeleteShould we bring a swinsuit because I heard that last year they needed one
ReplyDeleteAre we allowed to bring our ipod for the bus ride and social time?
ReplyDeleteEach part of the day is planned for you. During the activity part your group is assigned an area to prevent long lines. For example, your cabin will be given a time and day to go on the zip line, to rock climb, go the the snack bar etc.
ReplyDeleteAgain, with electronics, if you bring them Wilde Lake and NorthBay are not responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen items. Your ipod would be fine for the bus, but you will not really use it while we are on the trip and it should be locked in your cabin.
ReplyDeleteThe students last year did go in the water and needed bathing suits. Although it is not on the packing list you could probably still bring it since water shoes are listed. I am assuming the water will still be very cold. As my mom always used to tell me, "Better to bring it and not use it than to leave it at home and be left without." But that doesn't mean pack everything you own :)
ReplyDeleteAre we allowed to carry on the bus a shoulder bag that has cards an other things in it to keep us occupied on the bus
ReplyDeleteYes! A small bag is fine!
